Rotaract Club Of Chandigarh Shivalik Promotes Sustainability Through Paper Bag-Making Initiative observance of World Earth Day 2025, the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh Shivalik proudly highlights a meaningful initiative held on April 10th at Sarvani NGO, Railla, Sector 12, Panchkula, Haryana. Organized under the leadership of International Services Director Rtr. Jenifer Prakash, the event brought together Rotaractors and children from the NGO to craft paper bags — a creative and impactful step toward environmental awareness.In addition to fostering a spirit of sustainability among young minds, the paper bags created during the session will be sold to local vendors, encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives to plastic. This initiative not only reduces plastic usage but also empowers the children by involving them in a cause that directly contributes to a greener future.Through education, engagement, and action, the Rotaract Club reaffirms its commitment to creating a lasting impact — one paper bag at a time.
