30 Jan (SPOT LIGHT 24) Nayagaon has organised a special event based on women empowerment, health hygiene and distribution of Nirali Sanitary pads.
Utkarsh global foundation is working in various parameters like Environmental awareness campaign, Women health care and empowerment, Animal welfare, Disaster preparedness etc for last more than two years in Punjab.
State co-ordinator Mr daljeet Singh said Till now in Punjab more than 150 events have been done in collaboration with Department of environment and climate change, Punjab pollution control board, and various Municipal corporation and councils for last two years. Majorly in Say no to single use of plastic, Tree plantation, Cleaning drives, free cloth bags distribution, Nirali Sanitary napkins etc.
Special thanks to MC of ward no 17, Mrs Archana kori ji, Mrs Santosh Verma, Sanitary Inspector, MC Nayagaon and other ladies officials for their presence.
More than 50 ladies from ward no 17, Nayagaon, SAS Nagar Mohali attended the program and took the benefit.
Moreover many awareness programs will be executed in coming times on personal hygiene, Say no to single use of plastic, Tree plantation, cleanliness drives etc.
Utkarsh Nirali Sanitary napkins were also distributed to all the ladies after the awareness campaign.
Utkarsh Nirali Sanitary pads are washable and reusable. Each box of Nirali is consists of 4 pads. These sanitary pads are hand made which is also a source of livelihood for the ladies from unprivileged areas.
Refreshments were also served to all the beneficiaries.
