Chandigarh Administration hosted twenty civil servants from Myanmar, of Deputy Commissioner Level, for an exposure visit today. The programme was conducted in coordination with National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) as part of 1st Mid Career Training Programme for District Administrators of Myanmar under the aegis of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Sachin Rana, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Sh. K K Yadav, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh interacted with the participants during training programme. Commissioner M.C, Chandigarh, presented regarding Chandigarh Smart City and presentation on Development Schemes and Indian Red Cross Society was given by Additional Deputy Commissioner. SDM Central, Smt. Nazuk Kumar was the nodal officer for the programme.
The Deputy Commissioner also discussed his nature of duties/responsibility as Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, U.T, Chandigarh. The delegates visited Capitol Complex, Rock Garden, District Control Centre for election and Indian Red Cross Society Sarai, PG
